What is the sudden sometimes persistent feeling of uneasiness or perhaps nervousness that you might experience in your daily life. These feeling may stem from unknown anxiety or stress. Anxiety can come in different forms. For instance from my own personal experience it could be because of an important test or presentation. These are just some instances where people could experience feelings of excessive worry that can cause disturbances in your daily life. Anxiety could stem from environmental factors or maybe develop from everyday stress. It's a natural response to the stressful situation.
Anxiety is something that many people deal with, including myself. It is important to note that everyone deals with anxiety in their own way. As mentioned before anxiety comes in different forms and the process of relieving anxiety is different for everyone. These feelings of sometimes persistent intense fear or avoidance during daily activities, are perfectly fine to feel. Even though it was difficult to persist throughout the day, I had to continue on with my day to day life. Although ignoring the symptoms of mental health isn't ideal, it was a way to cope with the daily stress that was increasing throughout months and days of excessive worry.
As a result, I was mostly dealing with the impacts of anxiety by myself. At the time, the people around me didn't really know what I was dealing with, including my parents. In fact it meant that I was mostly withdrawn from social situations, such as communicating with friends or just going outside in my free time. As the symptoms of anxiety began to spiral out of control, it impacted me significantly. For instance it made simple tasks such as getting out of bed and getting ready for school feel like a nightmare to complete. While these simple tasks drained my energy what drained me the most was the sense of dread following me throughout the day. These are symptoms of mental health that are important to look out for to be improve your wellbeing.
In fact knowing what you're dealing with, made it much easier to pinpoint what was causing my anxiety in the first place. However, ignoring the symptoms of anxiety caused a substantial decline in my mental health. By implementing different strategies on improving my own mental health, it improved my daily wellbeing. Noting what might be causing your own anxiety is especially beneficial in developing positivity in our daily lives.
Being able to keep an open mind to what you're dealing with can greatly impact your journey to developing strategies to deal with your own mental health. It's a process of developing a deeper connection and understanding of yourself.
