Mental red flags are usually the first signs that you might be dealing with a mental illness or mental disorder. Different individuals have various symptoms according to their own circumstances. For instance, these red flags could be presented as being withdrawn from social setting or losing interests in hobbies you usually would enjoy. Although noticing these signs might not be very obvious at first, but ignoring the red flags will gradually worsen your mental state over a long period of time. Spotting mental risk factors will aid you in discovering solutions to improving your mental wellbeing overtime.
MENTAL HEALTH RED FLAGS
Behavioral Signs:
Withdrawn socially for a long period of time
Sudden loss of interest in hobbies you enjoy
Prolonged feelings of low mood or angry outbursts
Excessive worry or fear/ Extreme mood swings
Physical Signs:
Changes in sleeping habits
Changes in appetite
Having difficulty concentrating or making decisions
